Biography
A Psychedelic Rock Experiment
Nga'ay ho! (greetings in Amis language) We are Outlet Drift, a trio deeply rooted in the indigenous music scene of Taiwan.
Outlet Drift is not your ordinary band; we're an immersive experience, seamlessly blending traditional Amis melodies with modern rock vibes. Our music is a dance between intensity and serenity, guiding listeners through a journey of both the mind and spirit.
Drawing from the rich tapestry of Amis culture, our compositions are a fusion of ancient rituals and contemporary expression. We honor our heritage by infusing our performances with the essence of traditional Amis art and ceremonies, creating a mesmerizing harmony that resonates with audiences.
In our pursuit of sonic innovation, we craft our own instruments using materials sourced from the natural world. This connection to nature not only enriches our sound but also deepens our bond with the earth, infusing our music with a primal energy that is truly unique.
At the heart of our music lies a commitment to authenticity and emotional honesty. Each performance is a deeply personal expression of our innermost feelings, inviting listeners to join us on a journey of self-discovery and connection.
We invite you to experience the magic of Outlet Drift—a musical odyssey like no other, where every note is a step towards enlightenment and every beat a heartbeat of the earth.

They were captivating, deep, had an intensity and originality, yet a respect for tradition also felt present in every note, movement and spirit. I was moved (like the wind) by their music and being.

' Drifting 波流水 '
After four years, Outlet Drift has released three new tracks:
